Assignment and Service Locations

Least Restrictive Environment

District Assignment

Where are services delivered?

The district determines a student’s assignment. 大多数接受特殊教育服务的学生(约70%)是使用 standard district process.

Unique Placements and Assignments

Where will my student go to school?

Requesting a Change of School Assignment

家庭可以通过以下两种不同的程序申请变更工作: Seattle Public Schools School Choice or (rarely) special education assignment appeal.

School Choice and Open Enrollment

“公开注册”是一个每年一次的申请机会，学生可以申请其他学校，而不是原来指定的学校. This opportunity is called School Choice. It is a process administered by the Admissions Department.

Siblings of Students Receiving Special Education Services

Assignment Appeals
